In the beginning there was no time and space…
"Once there was nothing, then swirling light. It was every colour. It made atoms electrons, life, trees, but also stars, supernovas, Mars and the amazing Moon. It made oxygen and H20, us, bacteria, germs, smells, monkeys that morphed into humans, gravity, light, glass and fire. The universe when it was creating was courageous and imaginative. When it exploded it made tons of things it had never thought of before. Gases that smelt like smoke and daffodils. It looked like blues, yellows and reds whooshing to join up. It made the first animal eyes. Those eyes might have seen the sun and life on the world for the first time."

Fred, I am really amazed and inspired by all you thoughts and impressions of our Universe Story. Very well done! Rod , Global Generation
"Peaceful. That was the only word I could use to describe it with. I was surrounded by a deep sea of nothingness. In my mind I could see mysterious objects swimming through my invisible sea. I could imagine people crawling through trenches, communicating with each other. I could see animals in trees, on the ground and under the earth. I could see disaster and worry, but also happiness and forgiveness. And then throughout time, they came to be. Planets and stars, and you and me. The men fought for themselves, the women at home, beautiful and radiant: like my creation, The universe."

"In the beginning there was no time and space. I felt tranquil and patient for a long long time. I started rising from the nothingness getting larger, overwhelmed and creative. But this is all so confusing what’s happening am I doing this? To my shock and delight I exploded with courage, strength, boundless powerful forces. I was loud I was colossal I was… magnificent. Galaxies and stars all beautiful and glowing. Oh how I am shining how I am shimmering. Planets and stars everything is incredible, fantastic, inventive. But this is only the beginning and I am the amazing universe."

"In the beginning there was no time and space. I felt the explosive power and strength inside me growing like a T-Rex spirit inside an ant. The anger I had with the nothingness for not letting me create anything. So I exploded with infinite power, within seconds atoms had formed and clouds mashed together. Galactic cauldrons formed then exploded and galaxies and solar systems, Earth, the moon, the Sun, bacteria all the way up to you. You were created as a form of life. I will not tell you if there are others for you must learn. For everyone will grow much bigger inside then their inside."

Noah, I can feel the immense power of the Big Bang when you use the striking simile of a 'T-Rex spirit inside an ant.' In fact as you say everything that now exists came out of that initial moment of Power. Brilliant! Rod, Global Generation
"In the beginning there was no time or space. I felt lonely and confused. Why was there nothing!!?
I became angry. I made a big star, burning hot, making everything glow! A huge white round milk ball with small indentations on it. At night supernovas, galaxies swirling above the sky; in one of those galaxies there is a planet, green, blue and guess what – you! Boom! Crash! Bang! My dream came true, swirling galaxies around space, so peaceful – my creation has gone…. Wow…." Joe Crook, Yr 5

"BOOM!
In the beginning there was no time or space. I felt lonely and bursting with creativity. Every night I would dream of life. I could see trees swaying in the crisp summer air. The glistening, life giving sun blazing in cyan sky. Foam tranquil waves splashing on soft golden sand. Birds soaring above the world. No longer should darkness roam these parts. I was starting my journey to life, my creative side had been released through the universe. I did it. Boom!" Fernando Riazor Rodriguez, Yr 5

"In the beginning, there was no time or space. I felt tremendously powerful. I needed to do something spectacular. And fast. I was fed up of the vast universe being so substantial. How could I make this happen? First, the searing sun was formed. My new world is now unlimited. I can do anything. Next formed the spiralling planets. The life-giving Earth was my personal favourite. Rocks were colliding into each other, relentlessly. Next on Earth came the first life. Very small life called Bacteria. Microscopic shapes, gliding in and out of the water, which then formed into tremendous mammals. Then fish. After that, humans. Along with you, and everything else around you"

Jasmine, this is beautiful. It's also powerful the way you say as the Universe 'I can do anything'. surely if we all had this same spirit we could accomplish so much! Rod, Global Generation
"In the beginning there was no time or space. I felt useless, a waste of space. I had to do something worthwhile but what could I do, a tiny speck floating through deep dark space. I thought and thought until it hit like a fist to the face I could blow up, leave a mark in time. So I built all my energy until I was a substantial ball of searing anger(?). Boiling and glistening. Spectacular and desperate(?). I exploded…. Millions of miniscule particles and colossal clumps of rocks flew out. I am the Universe!"

"In the beginning there was no time or space. I felt like I was going to be devoured by loneliness. Suddenly I could feel a violent bubbling, I had no idea what was going to happen, but the great thing that did happen was marvellous. I made the vast circling planets, the magical glistening stardust, the molten glowing sun, microscopic particles, roaring meteors, the sparkling sapphire sea, the gleaming twinkling stars and most importantly, YOU! It took me 14 billion years, but you have to admit, it was worth it".

"In the beginning there was no time or space. I felt explosions burning and bursting inside me, I could not hold it. Then I burst into planets and galaxies. Light beamed everywhere. I would have vaporised anything, if there was something 14 billion years ago. Glistening stardust magically forming to create planets and moons. But most of all I created the Sun, a molten charged star with beaming light spewing out of it. I did it using all my power. I have created a mind-blowing universe. But just then a meteorite called Fear struck the earth and destroyed the amazing creations, but then humans…"

"Bang!
In the beginning, there was no time and space. I felt so small but I was erupting with energy and then I detonated. Sparks of fire shot out in all direction, which cooled down and turned into microscopic particles. The young universe has been born. The first mother stars had been formed, and some sacrificed themselves by turning into a forever growing explosive supernova. After exploding, bits of stardust started clumping together. Hydrogen and helium clumped together to make a gigantic, fiery star and the glittering stardust made spherical balls. The planets orbited the star, known as the sun".
