Thread discussions
A thread discussion is a form of gaining meaningful dialogue between a group by thinking differently about how to engage in the discussion. It is not a debate!
There are a few simple guidelines when having a thread discussion:
1. The most important thing is to be more interested in what you do know than what you don’t know.
2. Listen deeply to what the person talking has said and build on the part that resonates with you most.
3. Relate what you are saying back to the discussion, rather than offering an opposing view. This way, you are building on the topic or question of the discussion.
